NoVAGO’s 2018 Cache Awards — Voting

NoVAGO’s 2018 Geocache Awards Voting has started for the NoVAGO Annual Cache Awards. To see the list of nominated caches, please visit this website post. You may want to spend some time reading the nominees for Best Log before voting. Once you are done visiting as many of the nominated caches as you want to, VOTE HERE. Voting is open to all NoVAGO members. Voting will be closed at midnight on April 30th. Ballot is hosted on a Google Form. If you encounter any problems or have any questions please send an email to awards@novago.org. If you vote early and then change your mind, simply fill out another ballot. Your most recent submission will be counted. You do not need to have found a cache to vote for it. On May 5, 2019 NoVAGO invites to you lend a hand, picnic with friends, and celebrate the 2018 NoVAGO Cache Awards in Loudoun! Join us at the fire pit at Freddiecrs’ as the members of the Chickahominy tribe vote for the SURVIVOR18 winner. Our three remaining Survivors are: minnestrone     QUE3NBE3     SP4FUN It is NOT required that you bring anything but yourselves to this event, but if the spirit of Survivor moves you, feel free to bring a dish and drinks to share. Come Give Thanks and Celebrate 12 years of NoVAGO!

NoVAGO turns 12 this year and to celebrate we will be kicking off the year with our traditional Thanks Event! The first official NoVAGO event was hosted on January 14, 2007, so this event is an early birthday party for our organization as well. Join NoVAGO for a Screening of the 2018 Geocaching Film Festival GIFFS

This year NoVAGO is holding it’s Geocaching Film Festival event in Manassas, VA.  Join us at the Bull Run Public Library as we watch this years round of geocaching films.  This year filmmakers were asked to film a great story about the game we love and send it to us. NoVAGO’s 4th Annual Hauntingly Familiar Fall Event

Summer has passed and fall is on the way. Come and help us celebrate the turning of the seasons by attending NoVAGO’s last major event of 2018. Be sure to log your “will-attend” as early as possible to ensure that we have enough food for the masses.  Attendees are encouraged to bring your favorite pot luck dish, all we ask is that you list what you are bringing in your “will attend” log so that others won’t bring in a similar dish.  As with all of our picnics NoVAGO will be supplying the charcoal, hamburgers, hot dogs, plates, and condiments. Join Us at Our NoVAGO Annual Spring Picnic and 2017 NoVAGO Geocache Awards Event

On May 6, 2018 NoVAGO invites to you lend a hand, picnic with friends, and celebrate the 2017 NoVAGO Cache Awards in Arlington! At 9 a.m. we will kick off the day with a CITO at Glencarlyn Park where we will be cleaning up portion of trails along Four Mile Run in Arlington.  Located just over a mile from our picnic shelter this CITO is a nice walk or a quick bike ride up a paved path from our picnic location. Trash bags will be provided at the clean up.  To log your “will Attend” or to find out more information check out the geocache page at THIS LINK.
