Looking for something to do this weekend? NoVAGO is supporting three events on Saturday, November 14 going on around the Northern Virginia and Maryland area. In no particular order, they are: The 2nd Annual Occoquan Bay Refuge CITO hosted by DePhogration Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge, 10 am to 12 pm This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and the parks our Geocaches call home. Appalachian Trail Conservancy Biennial Conference

In July, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy will host the 2015 ATC Biennial Meeting, and NoVAGO has been asked to assist. We’ve been tasked with presenting a Geocaching workshop and later leading a Geocaching excursion. We’re looking for your help! NoVAGO at GeoWoodstock XIII

NoVAGO had a great showing at GeoWoodstock XIII in Boonsboro, MD. In addition to several members’ participation on the planning committees, we executed a joint Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event with the Maryland Geocaching Society (MGS), attended by well over 300 cachers. NoVAGO is Headed South for Winter!

The temperatures have plummeted and snow is on the ground.  For many, the current weather might make caching outdoors seem improbable, but don’t despair!  NoVAGO has a perfect fix for that caching cabin fever.   Come join us this coming Saturday, February 21st for our annual Winter Event.
