February 2018 Photo of the Month Winner

Congratulations to JPWAVE for his winning photo titled “Lady Bugs’ Picnic!” that he described as “Somewhere…in Southern MD, there’s a ladybug picnic happening right now!” We also offer a big thank you to everybody who participated in the February 2018 photo of the month contest.

Next month’s Contest is now open.  Please post your entries for the March 2018 Photo of the Month Contest forum.

Remember that at the end of the year all of the monthly winning photos will battle it out for the NoVAGO 2018 Photograph of the Year title.  That winning photographer will be awarded a NoVAGO Cache Awards Geocoin at our annual Spring Event & NoVAGO Cache Awards presentation.

I am Marylander who moved to NoVA back in 2006. I found one geocache in 2010, but it wasn't until 2012 that I really became a geocacher. I served as a director for NoVAGO in 2014, and have been the Public Affairs Officer since 2016.
