If you're interested in canoeing, the Old Town Penobscot is a great all around canoe. Not sure what kind of condition this one is in, but I've purchased used canoes from outfitters before without any problems. Thinking about one of the Penobscots myself because at $425 for a $1499 canoe, it is a steal if they are in workable condition.

I also highly reccomend their river trips if you're looking for something to do this weekend. The upper James River is exceptionally beautiful and not too difficult to navigate.

Update: I did a little more research on the Penobscot models they are selling and they are the heavier, more inexpensive models. I was hoping that they were selling the royalex version but it is not the case. Too bad, would have been an incredible deal.
