Farewell BAJA Clan - We will miss you

For those of you who may not know, BAJA Clan is moving to Hungary ...
Leaving August 10th on an extended European adventure ...

A new life,
New friends to make,
Lots of new countries to discover,
and a mega event in their backyard a week after arrival

A NoVAGO charter member and original officer,
BAJA Clan has been instrumental in helping to get Geocaching established in the NoVA area
From teaching classes, to coordinating Earth Day event participation, and working with PW County and other area park districts,
The Clan has been a positive influence in everything they have touched

Help us send them on their way in style ...
August 2nd there is a going away event scheduled at Cici's at Route 50 and 28 in Chantilly ...

Boy, what some people will do to get to an area with a lot of fresh, unfound caches!! Sorry I won't be able to make it, will be having visitors from across the pond over. Glad to had met Baja Clan while hunting for Moose's letterboxes.

I have been happy to see some distinguished cachers leave the area and eventually return with many new finds logged while they were away. Perhaps that will be the case with Baja Clan as well.

I hope to attend the event and personally extend my best wishes on her European sabbatical.
