FCPA "60 years of parks"/NoVAGO Coins

Fairfax County Park Authority/NoVAGO coins are now out and being placed in caches all around fairfax county(with a focus on FCPA Parks, both big[such as lake accotink] and small[such as bush hill]). Happy hunting.

I will edit this post to contain photos of the coins when I make it to an actual computer.

Nope, I don't believe they are trackable, SK6 Blue has been dropping them off...search his Profile for recent found caches...he mentions them in his logs. He's placed them in GC14QZG, GC24Q2V, GC1FNQ0, and GC26AKB - possibly others.

Did it for you, if you have better photos by all means upgrade.

I figured as much on both fronts but thought I would ask for those that might not know the tricks of the trade. You know, level the playing field for finding the coins so everyone can enjoy them.

I just thought about it but how many coins were minted? Just curious as I am hoping to claim one, no more, no less.

don't quote me, but i believe 600 were minted.

Thank you for throwing the photos up for me, those are exactly the shots i planned to post.

If people would like, I could post a running list of caches i have dropped coins into[but as it has been said i do mention the coins in the online log when i leave them]... or if there is a park you think i am unlikely to visit for whatever reason[there are a lot of FCPA parks] please mention it to me and i will make a point to drop some coins into the caches at that park.


so far, Coins dropped at various caches at Deerlick park, Wakefield park, Edsall park, Bush Hill park, Lake Accotink park, Huntly Meadows park, etc...

I got the one at Y ate the Cache (GC1FNQ0). They look even better in person. (SK6 Blue, I signed the log for you since you didn't have a writing tool yesterday).
