The *NEW* Lake Frederick (GCVRAJ)

If you ever head out to Winchester and you own a boat this is a fun one to do. Of course you can do this one and the other one by land but it is much easier and fun to do so by boat. Took me three visits to get it right but thankfully on the third visit the weather was great and the water was not frozen. The cache rarely gets finds but what Hydro cache does?

After reading this recommendation, GLM and I did the 4 caches on Lake Frederick today, since I needed to try out my inflatable kayak.
Water like glass, abundant wildlife and very friendly boaters.
We spent several hours on the water, just amazing views.
The caches themselves were secondary to the lake itself. Definitely recommended if you like to get out on the water.

Glad someone is reading these. So how were the boats? I love GLMs photo he posted to his log! Seems a new cache popped up so I will try to get back there within the next few years. Kind of makes me want to drop a new one too.

I was at REI today, and saw some inflatable kayaks on sale. I thought about it, but can't really justify it... yet.
